Darron Gibson says everyone in the squad is pulling together to ensure the Reds enjoy a successful campaign. While competition for places within the starting XI can leave players frustrated at times, Gibson insists everyone understands that the team come first and, in Sir Alex Ferguson, the Reds have the best around at keeping players happy. “Not only do we have a good squad, we’re a really tight group as well,” Gibson toldManUtd.com. “We have a great team spirit and no-one wants to upset it. “Sir Alex Ferguson is probably the greatest manager ever. He knows what he is doing and how to keep players happy.
“We have a good group here and hopefully it will stay like that for a long time.”
